This Caterpillar is hoping to turn into a beautiful butterfly but needs to eat some dinner first!

A sweet activity for children of all ages to feed the caterpillar. They can collect items from nature walks or use pretend food from the play kitchen to help him turn into a beautiful butterfly.

The hole is 1.8” in diameter and can fit most play food, if you need a larger hole our large lid caterpillar would work better. This insert is made from frosted acrylic and can be drawn on with dry erase markers or Kwik-Stix paint sticks.

Be sure to color on the bottom of the insert (the side with our name upside down) so you do not get paint in the lines as that may not wash off.

This listing is for the lid only. It does not include the table, book, pretend food or bins, etc.

Bins are available upon request, send us a message and we can make a listing for it.

Item is water resistant but not water proof. Lid should not be used to eat from. If splintering or cracks appear with use, discontinue use and discard.

We take pride in our craftsmanship and strive for the best quality on every order. However, items are handmade and some minor imperfections are to be expected, especially for products made from wood materials.
This product contains small parts and is not safe for children under 3 due to choking hazard. Children should always have adult supervision while engaging in play with this item.
